BEING FAMOUS

FAMOUS- the word is so mesmerising! Every individual wants to add this word behind their identities. 

What does it mean to be famous? Dictionary says- known about by many people. But for what?

Have you ever wondered what it means in true sense? How being famous must feel like?

Does it mean being a multibillionaire with a collection of a minimum of 25 latest cars, having a gigantic mansion which requires hundreds of people to help manage it and seeing people standing outside it to get a glimpse of you but you are forbidden to go mingle with them leave alone hug them due to some apparent status symbol?

Or 

Does being famous mean when someone has skills to keep up with people and gives them time and attention and where quality connections fill your heart with gratitude, happiness and contentment?

One may feel on top of the World and secured with all the riches they possess and the attention they get, but is it something long term or sustainable? Will it last forever and exist every morning you wake up? Things change overnight, new trends pop up and people start following them only having a faint memory of what was. False fame is nothing but another notification to chase the fame.

But when fame is because of your personal space in someone’s heart, it never fades, love born out of joy and trust is everlasting. And so, no matter what, hundreds like you might join you and become the ‘new thing’ but you will forever remain special and be adored!

Relationships require a lot of work and ‘quality relationships’ (not quantity, never quantity) are better predictors of a long and happy life than ‘social class’.

People with strong relationships are happier and physically and mentally healthier than those who don’t pay much attention to relationships.

In pursuit of immediate happiness, we get busy collecting materialistic joys and lose focus of connections which eventually get disconnected.

Being famous doesn’t mean multiple framed awards on a wall.

Being famous is when one is cherished by and live in smiles of many.
